Bug#1008956: tex-common: Something in package "tex-common" causes dpkg to exit with exit code -1

Well uh, this is embarrassing, but apparently it fixed itself overnight. 
And since the machine rebooted since then, I no longer have the tmp 
files it made. I suppose if I have this occur again, I'll let you guys know?
