Package: update-manager Version: 0.42.2ubuntu22-2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
A recent update for unstable caused the removal of update-manager (and consequently update-notifier). Upon trying to reinstall update-manager, I'm told: The following packages have unmet dependencies. update-manager: Depends: python2.4-gnome2 but it is not going to be installed E: Broken packages Trying to install python2.4-gnome2 tells me: python2.4-gnome2: Depends: python2.4-gtk2 (>= 2.4) It seems that python2.4-gtk2 has disappeared, to be replaced by python-gtk2. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
