Package: xutils-dev Version: 1:7.7+5+b1 Severity: serious Tags: patch Justification: Makes xtel FTBFS
Hello, xtel started failing to build in bullseye, e.g. https://tests.reproducible-builds.org/debian/rbuild/unstable/amd64/xtel_3.3.0-24.rbuild.log.gz “ ar clq libVideotex.a Videotex.o tvr_jpg.o tvr_hdr.o ar: libdeps specified more than once ” That's because imake passes clq to ar, but while the 'l' letter has been ignored by ar for a long time, ar doesn't ignore it any more, and is thus getting confused by imake passing it. The attached patch fixes it by telling imask to use just "ar cq".
