Severity: serious

Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)

ostree 2020.8-1 successfully built in my build environment (sbuild on a
qemu VM running Debian 10, with ext4 filesystems) and on mips*el and
various ports architectures, but failed on all non-mips*el release
architectures.

I think this might be filesystem-dependent: the equivalent installed-test
succeeds when run from an empty directory on btrfs, but fails when run
from an empty directory on tmpfs. I'm looking into it, no need to report
it again.

>From the point at which the test fails, it might be to do with timestamp
resolution?
