thanks for the report. Please, use reportbug or another tool which
understands the "/usr/share/bug/$PACKAGE/{presubj,script}" convention to
report bugs against auctex, as it provides very useful information.
Can you please provide us the content of your
"/usr/share/emacs21/site-lisp/auctex/CompilationLog" file?
Better yet, report the bug again using reportbug, I will the merge the
reports.
