Hi Toufeeq, Are you still able to reproduce this problem in xmms? If so, please send to the bug report:
- the value of the LANG environment setting
- the output of "grep -i font ~/.xmms/config"
- the xmms-fonts.tar.gz file generated by the following command:
tar zcvf xmms-fonts.tar.gz /usr/share/fonts/X11/misc/encodings.dir \
/usr/share/fonts/X11/misc/fonts.* \
/usr/share/fonts/X11/cyrillic/encodings.dir \
/usr/share/fonts/X11/cyrillic/fonts.* \
/usr/share/fonts/X11/100dpi/encodings.dir \
/usr/share/fonts/X11/100dpi/fonts.* \
/usr/share/fonts/X11/75dpi/encodings.dir \
/usr/share/fonts/X11/75dpi/fonts.* \
/usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1/encodings.dir \
/usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1/fonts.* \
/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType/fonts.* \
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/encodings/
This last command may return some errors due to missing files, but you
can ignore these.
Thanks,
