Regarding https://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=42676 https://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=42677 etc. Well if this is an libx11-6 bug, then patching just emacs won't fix the (many more?) other packages this affects...
