Package: gdesklets Version: 0.35.3-1 Severity: serious The gdesklets package still calls gconftool by hand to register schema files, and still keeps the schemas in /etc/gconf/schemas. This is a FHS violation which is fixed by using dh_gconf. As the package uses cdbs this is probably only a matter of rebuilding it without the gconftool call in the postinst.
Furthermore, these schemas are not uninstalled in the prerm script. This means the cruft is left /etc. A rule has to be added to uninstall them nevertheless in the new version. -- .''`.
