Hello, OSG-3.6 (3.6.0 through 3.6.4) introduced many breaking changes from OSG-3.4, not just breaking changes but many bugs that are still not fixed. OpenMW has been in contact with the OSG team now for over a year to correct them but Robert Osfield's priorities are nearly fully focused on VSG (Vulkan Scene Graph) so movement here is slow. OpenMW has contributed fixes to OSG and believe that a majority of bugs have been squashed as of OSG 3.6.5 that allows OpenMW to longer 'crash' as this bug indicates but there are other performance issues that won't be addressed until OSG 3.6.6 is released. To this extent, the OpenMW team has been pulling double duty in developing OpenMW further and also fixing regressions and performance issues in OSG itself. The best way forward in resolving this bug is to get OpenSceneGraph package bumped to 3.6.5 right away. This requires the help of Alberto Fernández, it's package maintainer. https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/openscenegraph Cheers, Bret
