Oops. Ok, in this case I'll take personal responsibility for this problem because you've warned me beforehand and I trusted my sponsor more than you. I could have at least properly tested it myself before completely removing it. Meanwhile, while conducting more thorough testing, I noticed that aptitude does in fact replace tcsh-kanji with the new version of tcsh, while apt-get does not. Strange world. ;-) However, thanks for bringing this to my attention again. This will be fixed as soon as I get the time, probably by tomorrow evening.
