We're talking only about unstable here. I wouldn't worry too much about
it (but I don't mind if you clean up). What's more important is that we
want the fix landed in unstable ASAP to get moving with the python3.8
transition. I understood that this issue is blocking pandas, which
blocks numpy, which is needed to fix lots of regressions.
