We had a similar discussion a while ago in bug#306184. The fact that aegis seemingly doesn't build with pbuilder is no reason to assume that it doesn't build from source. If you build it standalone like the autobuilders it builds ok. I'm therefore closing this bug. Feel free to reassign to pbuilder and reopen it there.
