Thanks for the upload. However, this one also has an issue: You also removed this call: update-alternatives --remove mt /bin/mt-gnu However, mt-gnu and the mt alternative are still shipped by cpio, so the alternative must be removed when removing cpio. Only rmt has been removed from cpio (long ago). Sorry :( Ivo P.S. Switching to debhelper after buster might be an improvement for this package...
