Please note that this is actually the wrong fix. As I noted in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=926698#19, cpio doesn't ship or create the /bin/rmt symlink (since 2.4.2-39 in 2001), so it shouldn't remove it either. The code removing the symlink should just be removed from the prerm. Thanks, Ivo
