Hi, I usually use the debian packages provided by Ceph [1], but recently tried the package provided by Debian in stretch-backports (because upstream does not provide packages for armhf).
[1] http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/install/get-packages/ I confirm that the ceph-osd package in Debian indeed lacks this systemd unit, while the upstream package does not; and manually writing it fixes the issue. Best regards, Val
