I don't think a new version of doxygen breaking many packages should be
uploaded now that buster is in freeze period. Right now this bug will
trigger the removal of ccfits while it builds fine with the current
doxygen.
In addition to that ccfits just uses doxygen in the standard way, that
is calling "doxygen Doxyfile" to generate refman.tex and then calling
"pdflatex refman". If it fails with a newer version of doxygen, it's a
bug in doxygen, not in ccfits.
I am therefore closing the bug. Please feel free to open a new one once
the new doxygen version is ready to be uploaded and you can show that
this is a bug in ccfits.
