Sorry, I wrongly believed this would happen in both buster and sid,
but apparently it only happened in buster, and only the day I reported it.

Could you please remove the unreproducible tag? I take a lot of care
not to report unreproducible bugs, and I really believe this was not
one of them. (In doubt, you can still use snapshot.debian.org).

I'm glad to see that Adrian Bunk has identified the root cause for
this problem, and it was not a bug in libmems after all.

But I still wonder, when we have library symbols, versioned depends
and all that, why these kind of things still happen.
