Ok, I'll upload a fix today for the missing dep.
However I am not able to make it look as it did on version 0.75-1. This is how version 0.75-1 looks like [1] (applet has the same background as the rest of the panel). I will ignore the above in the context of this bug report. Please report this as a separate bug, ideally upstream with a tracking bug in Debian BTS. Can you do this? Thanks!
