I'm guessing it's the same for nm-applet. I got no network manager applet and trash applet either. System/Preferences is kinda empty too.
It may be the reason why I have to login and "startx" now (well... sudo ifconfig eth0 up, sudo dhclient, and then startx). Some interesting logs/crash.
