Source: gambas3 Version: 3.9.2-2 Severity: serious Tags: upstream Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)
Builds (binNMUs, for the most part) of gambas3 have been failing for months: CC gb_sdl2_audio_la-main.lo main.c: In function 'AUDIO_init': main.c:61:13: error: 'MIX_INIT_FLUIDSYNTH' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'MIX_INIT_MID'? init_mixer(MIX_INIT_FLUIDSYNTH, "FLUIDSYNTH"); ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MIX_INIT_MID main.c:61:13: note: each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in Makefile:512: recipe for target 'gb_sdl2_audio_la-main.lo' failed This problem first showed up on buildd.debian.org with December's binNMU for libpoppler72 (subsequently superseded by libpoppler73 and libpoppler74), and has continued to affect subsequent binNMU attempts, first for libncurses6 and most recently for libcurl4. This latest round of failures is particularly problematic because it interferes with a *hard* transition, in which libcurl4 conflicts with libcurl3 to avoid skew in some scenarios (as detailed in #858398). Could you please take a look? Thanks! -- Aaron M. Ucko, KB1CJC (amu at alum.mit.edu, ucko at debian.org) http://www.mit.edu/~amu/ | http://stuff.mit.edu/cgi/finger/?a...@monk.mit.edu
