It would have been rather more helpful if you were to mention which package this is. It would also have been helpful to have made some effort to communicate this change to packages that build depend on yours when making the change rather than just letting them break with zero communication. Please also note that -done mails only go to the submitter of a bug, with duplicated bugs like this one
