Wouldn't a recommends in gnome (or gnome-core) be a better place? I suppose thunderbolt support requires support from other components as well, like gnome-settings-daemon or gnome-control-center? -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
