Your package build-depends on libgconf2-dev, but gconf will be removed
from Debian soon.

gconf's last release was about 5 years ago. It has been replaced by
gsettings (provided in Debian by source glib2.0 )

It looks like gconf isn't used so you should be able to just remove
libgconf-2-dev from Build-Depends. (No patch attached since this
should be a trivial fix.)

By the way, I had a problem building syncevolution. It complained that
it couldn't find test/dbus-server-sync.py as requested by
debian/syncevolution-dbus.examples . That issue is unrelated to this
gconf bug.
