Justification: causes non-serious data loss
when in jabber mode, the resource field is been appended to the server url,
and that seems to be used when attempting to connect the server.
leaving the resource field blank doesn't fix the problem, because gaim insists
on filling it with "Gaim".
when the server is google, it's unaccessible. the workaround is, of course,
using mozilla.
