Source: gnome-settings-daemon
Version: 3.26.1-2
Severity: serious

I am filing this placeholder RC bug to keep gnome-settings-daemon from
migrating before gnome-shell 3.26. gnome-shell might be delayed in
reaching testing depending on how we deal with
https://bugs.debian.org/878519 and
https://bugs.debian.org/875826

If gnome-settings-daemon 3.26 reaches testing before gnome-shell 3.26,
there will be known regressions in display configuration (orientation,
HiDPI, etc.)

Thanks,
Jeremy Bicha

As discussed on IRC, this bug is not required:
- gnome-core depends on both gnome-settings-daemon and gnome-shell
- gnome-settings-daemon already breaks gnome-shell (<< 3.25.91)

This already ensures that gnome-settings-daemon cannot migrate
to testing before gnome-shell, since that would make gnome-core
uninstallable in testing.
