apt-get upgrade using debian previously configured to use testing (buster)
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Existing python program stopped working with the exception thrown:

Program that has been "in production" for several years now wont run
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Program continues to run normally
Looks like a name mangling issue.
