The issue has been fixed in 2.6~dfsg-0+exp2 by dropping the symbols file for the C++ library (as allowed by the policy). The C++ lib is not reallly used as revdep in Debian anyway (it is currently errorneously linked by asterisk, but that should be fixed with one of the next uploads by using --as-needed). The change has landed in unstable with 2.6~dfsg-1 Bernhard
