Package: nut-hal-drivers Version: 2.4.3-1.1squeeze2 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts Control: close -1 hal/2.6.1-1
Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install. As per definition of the release team this makes the package too buggy for a release, thus the severity. >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): Selecting previously deselected package nut-hal-drivers. (Reading database ... 6483 files and directories currently installed.) Unpacking nut-hal-drivers (from .../nut-hal-drivers_2.4.3-1.1squeeze2_amd64.deb) ... Setting up nut-hal-drivers (2.4.3-1.1squeeze2) ... dpkg: error processing nut-hal-drivers (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: nut-hal-drivers postinst checks for running udev even inside a chroot. But that process (on the host) is nowadays named systemd-udevd, and therefore no longer found by running 'pidof udevd' in the chroot. cheers, Andreas
