bookletimposer has de facto been abandoned upstream: last upstream
commits I can see are 4+ years old, I'm not aware of any _working_
upstream Git repo, no reply from the author on some forwarded bugs and
patches since 2-3 years, and we're now carrying a patch for
#763974 since upstream never addressed it on their side.
In the current state of things I'm not comfortable with the
perspective of maintaining bookletimposer for 3-5 years in the next
Debian stable release: this would simply put too much responsibility
on my shoulders, and I don't want to slowly become upstream for one
more project.
Hence this RC bug to get it auto-removed from testing, and block the
migration of future uploads to testing, until the situation changes.
I'm happy to keep it in sid for a few more years though, and I'd love
to change my mind regarding suitability for a stable release, whenever
the situation evolves :)
Cheers!

I've got good news!

This appears to not be the case anymore.

https://git.codecoop.org/kjo/bookletimposer.git is the new location.
The upstream homepage was updated to reflect that.

The patches we are shipping have now been integrated upstream. I'm not
holding my breath for a new release, but that's a very good start :)

I'm willing to give it a try for Stretch, so I'm closing this bug.
Cheers!
