Hi Tobias,I've been talking with Don and some lilypond devs, sorry for not keeping you in the loop I didn't realize you were one of the maintainers, here is my updated notes: https://ao2.it/tmp/lilypond-guile2/NOTES_2016-11-10.txt The eight patches at https://ao2.it/tmp/lilypond-guile2/ should fix the FTBFS, I guess Don hasn't had the chance to add them to the debian package yet, let me know how they work out. However, even if the build succeeds there are still some encoding issues: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-devel/2016-11/msg00076.html The full thread starts at: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-devel/2016-11/msg00030.html
Hi Antonio, thanks a lot for your work on this! I've read the thread and it seems that there's a small possibility to get lilypond back into Debian. At least the build proceeds much further with your patches.
Unfortunately, the build still fails (with current upstream 2.19.51). I'd like to try again with your latest set of patches, which you've just mentioned on lilypond-devel. Could you provide them on your webpage?
Regards, Tobias
