Hi submitter,
OpenSSL 1.1.0 is about to released. During a rebuild of all packages using
OpenSSL this package fail to build. A log of that build can be found at:
https://breakpoint.cc/openssl-1.1-rebuild-2016-05-29/Attempted/proftpd-dfsg_1.3.5a-1_amd64-20160529-1512
Still no solution for this. I've asked upstream if a patch for proftp
stable (1.3.5) could be made available[1] too. Not sure if there will be
some help.
According to [2] one could use libssl1.0-dev as BD instead.
Unfortunately this removes libpq-dev, which is needed by our package
too. Not sure if the Postgres people will change here so we can use the
work around for stretch.
Third solution would be to use rc release from upstream and patch from
github. I guess I'll have to got this way.
