It does bind at a pretty low level (lots of structs reproduced), but you're right that I don't think it's as bad as they thought. I just took a pass at it, and I think, did most of the port in an afternoon and evening. It passes its own tests, and translates, but the resulting binary segfaults on some stdlib tests.
