When deciding if the package should be kept or not, it might be useful to note that there is recent developments in the new upstream git repository mentioned in bug #813192. In other words, the upstream developer is still active, even if no update has been done to the Debian package since 2014.
I do not use this package myself, but have it installed and noticed its removal from testing thanks to how-can-i-help and decided to check it out. It seem like a good platform for making the TV channel I am involed in (Frikanalen) easily available for Debian users. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
