I think the reason can be two things, quoting SQLite3 upstream: - The SQLITE_DEFAULT_PAGE_SIZE is increased from 1024 to 4096. - The SQLITE_DEFAULT_CACHE_SIZE is changed from 2000 to -2000 so the same amount of cache memory is used by default.
There's a detailed description[1] on these, but upstream emphasize: "Not a Compatibility Break" / "The only thing that is changing is some default settings. This should result in a performance increase for many applications.". I think libdatabase-dumptruck-perl upstream should be noted about this issue. May check it locally, but please don't take my word on it. Regards, Laszlo/GCS [1] http://sqlite.org/pgszchng2016.html
