This version of pyscard dropped the Python 2 version without any
explanation on why this was needed. In the process, you made
yubioath-desktop uninstallable (as well as another package
which is only available in Kali).
The move to Python 3 was not really needed. But since the upstream code is now
working with Python 3 it was a good idea to provide python3-pyscard.
Please restore the Python 2 version of the module.

A patch for
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/python-modules/packages/pyscard.git/ would
greatly help.
