The problem seems to be with the 'HOME="/nonexistent"' which was apparently
introduced in pbuilder 0.220, which breaks Dist::Zilla's home directory
detection. I have been able to fix the issue locally by setting
BUILD_HOME="/tmp" in my .pbuilderrc, and afterwards everything builds fine for
me. However, obviously that wouldn't help on build machines where I don't have
control over that (autobuilders, ...).
