python-support has been deprecated in 2011.
https://lists.debian.org/20110627205057.gj31...@piotro.eu

in the years we came to a stalled situation where we stuck with ~80
packages to be transitioned. Of those 80 probably 78 where really
unmaintained (last uploads 2010 or so) or already orphaned.
So, I'm kicking this hard.

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?tag=pysupport-deprecation;users=debian-pyt...@lists.debian.org

Of those 11 bugs waiting for action,
distcc: that's experimental only, it currently FTBFS and I can't get it build
dipy: that's actually the real other blocker
liquidsoap: I asked whether that should be RMed
pystatgrab: currently FTBFS
python-peak.rules: poked the maintainer, we agree I'll nmu it he doesn't react
python-peak.util: same as ↑
zorp: currently FTBFS
pyimport-relative: currently FTBFS
enemies-of-carlotta: asked whether that should be RMed
openmeeg: currently FTBFS

severity:serious is the severity you use when you're reaching the very
bottom of a transition, to speed things up and actually finish that
transition.
If I did the count correctly, there are only 2 packages really blocking
this.
Anyway, I have no concerning about severities if stuff get fixed.

I actually already pushed yesterday to the collab-maint repository.
Feel free to do whatever you like with my changes.
I'm sorry if some of the changes don't fit you, usually such stuff are
not done in NMUs...

If you have issues wrt uploading, I'd be honored to sponsor stuff.
Just revert changes you don't like, rever everything either, push a tag
and I'll be happy to upload it.
I'm happy you show up, you're actually the only maintainer who did in
~80 NMUs/QA uploads/Team uploads I did... :(
