Yep, as explained by upstream, this bug in os-prober is due to a new feature in blkid from newer util-linux versions where it can now get info from partition tables as well as filesystems, so it succeeds getting information from the partition but the returned information does not contain the filesystem type so it returns an empty string. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=784709#44 -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
