Source: xserver-xorg-video-intel Version: 2:2.21.15-2 Severity: serious Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past) Control: notfound -1 2:2.99.917-1~exp1
With the recent upload of Xorg 1.17 to unstable, the intel driver no longer builds successfully: https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=xserver-xorg-video-intel&arch=amd64&ver=2%3A2.21.15-2%2Bb3&stamp=1430827769 > ../../../../src/sna/fb/fbcopy.c: In function 'sfbCopyPlane': > ../../../../src/sna/fb/fbcopy.c:222:10: error: too many arguments to function > 'miHandleExposures' > return miHandleExposures(src, dst, gc, > ^ > In file included from ../../../../src/sna/fb/fbcopy.c:27:0: > /usr/include/xorg/mi.h:224:28: note: declared here > extern _X_EXPORT RegionPtr miHandleExposures(DrawablePtr /*pSrcDrawable */ , > ^ > make[5]: *** [libfb_la-fbcopy.lo] Error 1 The version from experimental does build successfully in an unstable chroot though. It might be possible to backport a stack of patches from master, but I suspect it might be better to switch to the 2.99.x "branch" as discussed in <https://bugs.debian.org/748753>, as Ubuntu have.
