I have confirmed that the Fedora patch does clear the original error,
however there is now a new error:
xen:/etc/bind# service rollerd restart
Restarting DNSSEC-Tools rollerd: rollerdUNIVERSAL->import is deprecated
and will be removed in a future perl at
/usr/share/perl5/Net/DNS/SEC/Tools/tooloptions.pm line 19.

This would appear to stem from the same faulty assumption as the first
one...
