I received notice from one of the FreeRDP upstream devs (Bernhard Miklautz) that the command line given in the bug report is "simply wrong" (he did not give me details). Still FreeRDP should not segfault.
I will ping Berhard via IRC and see if someone fixed that issue in upstream already.
