Package: sane-utils
Version: 1.0.24-5
Severity: serious

Scanning stopped working recently so I tried upgrading the sane packages to see
if that helps. I get the following error in the Synaptic terminal window:

(synaptic:9872): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_child_watch_add_full: assertion 'pid > 0'

When I try to start saned from the terminal, I get the following:

 failed!
