Hello Lina, Ximin and Daniel,

thank you for the report and triage of this problem. Much appreciated.
I apologize for the delay in response, I was offline on a remote island
for what was the Thanksgiving Weekend in the US.

I am sorry about the problems this issue has been causing you. I am
still trying to verify the problem locally. I'm downloading a live CD
now and will follow the steps that Daniel has generously provided to
test in a clean environment.

These kind of problems are usually the domain of my co-maintainer and
main upstream dev, Tz-Huan Huang. I will CC him on this mail, but I do
not expect him to be able to respond for a while since he informed me
that he would be offline until about middle of December. I am tagging
this ticket as "help" to indicate that I am hoping for other users and
devs to help with code inspection and coming up with a patch for jessie
to ensure a minimal delay.

Since this ticket was opened in June it means that at least 1.4.14-6 up
to 1.4.15-3 of scim would be affected. Did anybody ever try the version
in stable which is 1.4.13-5? It would be good to know what versions of
scim are known as affected and unaffected to speed up the remaining triage.

This is a quick heads-up to let everyone know that I am looking into
this as well as to kindly request help from others. I shall write more
as I progress with this ticket.

Regards

Rolf
