I have pushed a patch that reads the plugin config from /usr/share, then writes changes to ~/.creepy to keep the original config intact. Unfortunately, I missed the fact that the "labels" always need to be read from /usr/share, so the patch needs restructuring a bit to achieve this. Then twitter.py needs to be fixed to write the authentication information to ~/.creepy as well. The final thing once I can get some locations read in, is to make sure the "export to file" code writes somewhere sensible as well.
