Unfortunately 3.8.2005-12-06-2 doesn't fix the problem. libcapi20-3 is
still missing the so files.

Well, I know how to fix such problems. I'm an experienced Debian user
and also maintain packages for Debian. That's why I would expect at
least the minimum of testing before a package is uploaded. "unstable" is
no excuse for uploading non working packages.
I also know that I takes time to maintain a package and you shouldn't
consider this as a personal offense. I do appreciate everyones work for
Debian.

I actually sent you some ideas/files (making capi devices hotpluggable)
but never heard back from you.
