I'm sorry, I was actually supposed to sponsor scons 2.3.4-1 but I fell behind due to other stuff and missed the last 10 days before the freeze. I assume the release team won't unblock a new upstream version, so we will have to deal with solely this bug. Again, very sorry Joerg. I didn't know there was an RC bug open in scon!
