Hello, Perhaps you could share more details of your system; it sounds like maybe a graphics driver problem. Maybe you only see issues under GNOME because 3D acceleration is active all of the time.
You can probably gather the most relevant info by running: $ /usr/share/bug/xserver-xorg/script 3>&1 You may want to pipe that through `gzip --best` and attach it to this bug report. Thanks.
