Package: pessulus
Severity: serious
This is a dummy bug to retain pessulus from entering testing. IRC log
follows:
17:13 < lool> hello folks, may I here grab an ftpmaster for advice on whether
to remove and how to remove pessulus from unstable?
17:14 < lool> fatalerror (Guilherme de S. Pastore) explained that it was
mistakingly uploaded to unstable where it should have stayed in
testing for numerous reasons:
17:15 < lool> 1/ the version in unstable does nasty things during build (such
as trying to write to /usr/bin), 2/ doesn't build as non-root, 3/
needs GNOME 2.12 to be useful 4/ needs python 2.4 but was built
against 2.3
17:17 < Ganneff> lool: file an RC bug.
17:17 < Ganneff> and it wont go to testing
17:24 < lool> Ganneff: is that the best thing to do given that it's unsuitable
even for unstable?
17:24 < lool> Ganneff: (BTW, I'm fine with that, I only relay fatalerror's
suggestions here: fatalerror, please tell us whether this would
be ok)
17:25 < lool> (fatalerror is currently away for lunch)
17:25 < Ganneff> it should get in later anyways, right?
17:26 < lool> yes
17:27 * lool files the bug
