Hi, have noticed the same today. Based on this Ubuntu bugreport:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=752178 i have copied the following files: /usr/lib/syslinux/modules/bios/menu.c32 /usr/lib/syslinux/modules/bios/libutil.c32 to the root of the created USB stick to get the USB stick to work.
