Since this is blocking the parted transition I'm working on, I've prepared an NMU for libvirt (versioned as 1.2.4-3.1) based on Peter's patch in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=753121#38, and uploaded it to DELAYED/5.
